For awhile we have been pulling our hair out over such search terms like tennis courts for hire

tennis court hire

In fact in Google Ireland at the time of this post all ten results where non-irish !! look at the Google Trends:

trends tennis

That seemed a little odd until this trend and these results :

trends football

football hire

It just feels wrong to me if an Australian is searching for “tennis court hire” more than any other country that Google will show you .com.au results even if you are in Ireland with a Irish IP ! It’s wrong Google and seriously Bing you shouldn’t be following suit?

hat tips to http://www.leofogarty.com/ who is on the same track.
